The Doc Marts, at £59.99, were stylish but a bit pricey. So I got some very presentable black workboots for £17.99. They'll do the job. In the general sullen nastiness of a city centre during Christmas Week, I couldn't locate a decent hat. The latest delay means I can try again this week. Also I still want those clip-on sunglasses thingummies and a plug in mosquito repellent.
